We are the Kombi Community College – we and our great teachers!
We want to provide all residents with new skills throughout their lives. Our trump card is freedom of choice, participants can choose from our wide range of courses they want and we make it happen. We have done this for over 70 years and will continue on that path.
The Skärgårdens Archipelago Kombi provides courses throughout the city of Parainen. At Houtskar, we organize about 600 lessons each year; long and short. Old favorites include Möbelrenovering (Furniture Remodeling), Vävning (Weaving) and Båtbyggeri (Boating) as well as separate exercise courses have been popular year after year. In addition to these, the program includes short courses such as cooking courses, dog training courses, craft classes.
We send a course program to every home twice a year. Autumn enrollment is in late August and spring enrollment opens in early January. You can also study the courses on our website. We will keep you up to date on our Facebook pages.
